  • Beginners Yoga Series

    Saturdays October 24- November 14th · In Studio: 10am On Zoom: 12pm

    Now is a great time for yoga practice. Join Uriah for an accessible and inspiring introduction to the basics of yoga. Breath, posture, meditation, and all the tools you’ll need to drop into our all levels classes. Class size limited, on zoom or in studio, to provide personal presence and assistance. Helpful handouts provided.
  • Healing Sound Bath

    SAturday, October 24th · 3:30-5:30pm

    Reset the bodymind with the healing vibrations of sound. Rattles, drums, bowls, harmonium, and voice all provide the tones and tunes to release places that are bound up in the body, mind and soul. Come, relax, renew, and remember your potency as we move into the coming seasons. Bring your own blanket and pillow if desired. Mats will be set for social distancing. Masks required when moving about the studio.

  • MBSR: Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction

    Sundays November 1- December 6 · 12-2pm in Studio or on Zoom

    A 6-week course to dramatically reduce your experience of stress, transform your thinking, and provide you with life-long practices for maintaining whole health. $150

    Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction uses a combination of mindfulness meditation, body awareness, yoga and exploration of patterns of behaviour, thinking, feeling and action. Mindfulness can be understood as the non-judgemental acceptance and investigation of present experience, including body sensations, internal mental states, thoughts, emotions, impulses and memories, in order to reduce suffering or distress and to increase well-being.

    Each session focuses on one particular topic that is explored with specific exercises, as well as presentations from the teacher and in dialogue among the group participants. Some topics in an MBSR course are: mindful communication, working with difficult emotions and how perception influences our relationship to stressful events.

    No experience necessary! Research shows this program has a lasting effect for both people who have never practiced mindfulness before, as well as experienced practitioners.
